2023 5 & Dime Launch Party & Ribbon Cutting

Join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the 5&Dime, a newly established scenic driving route that highlights unique visitor stops along Route 5 and Route 10. The event will be held on Thursday, August 3, 11 a.m. at Billsburg Brewery, 2054 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185, adjacent to the James City County Marina. The driving route, developed in collaboration with localities and the Hopewell Downtown Partnership, showcases local restaurants, retail shops, parks, and outdoor recreation venues across City of Hopewell, Prince George County, Charles City County, James City County, and Surry County. Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) provided guidance and support for the trail's development. Rita McClenny, VTC President, and CEO will be in attendance, along with County officials and staff. Get ready to experience "Authentic Americana by river & road" on the 5&Dime!
