2024 August 14 FOLAR Appomattox River "Treasured Views" Community Workshop

The Appomattox River is a beautiful place to be. Whether you enjoy the views during your daily drives or outdoor adventures, your favorite views are important to our community. FOLAR has partnered with Scenic Virginia to identify our community’s favorite scenic view sheds in and around the lower Appomattox River. Now, we need YOUR HELP in identifying our community’s most valued scenic areas and sharing them with officials and interested parties to bring awareness to these treasured places. With this data, we hope to promote and protect these ‘Treasured Views.’ Join FOLAR and Scenic Virginia to learn more about this program and to share your favorite view along the Appomattox River in a mapping activity at this Appomattox River “Treasured Views” Community Workshop.
