Executive Director Townley Goldsmith-Ray is the Executive Director of Richmond SHRM and has worked for over 16 years in non-profit management. She formerly served as the Member Experience Manager for Richmond SHRM leading program operations, volunteer management, and membership management for the chapter. Prior to Richmond SHRM, Townley was the Director of Active RVA focused on promoting sports tourism and active living for the Sports Backers. Before her non-profit work, Townley cut her teeth in marketing and promotions for Minor League Baseball and as a Project Manager at The Martin Agency. Townley is a native of Richmond and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
